When We’re Not the Experts

Sharing is caring!

There are times in our work when we aren’t the experts. Yep. You read that correctly. Sounds like the worst marketing tagline ever, eh? But it’s the truth, and the other truth is we know how to excel in these situations, too. Our marketing is getting better now, right?

Language Is Our Jam

As writers and editors, our expertise is language — the beautiful stringing together of choice words to paint vivid pictures and share poignant messages. We’re experts in punctuation, language use and structure, but oftentimes we are not the experts in our subject matter. Some may say, then how the heck are you the best ones to write the pieces? Because we follow the right processes, use the right resources and speak with the right people. We’re experts at gathering the information we need to create the masterpieces you want.

Research Is Part of Our Job

When We’re Not the ExpertsInside all of us writers is a little man bent over his stack of books in the dark corner of a forgotten library soaking up every bit of knowledge about our topics. In other words, good writers are also incredible researchers. We know how to identify and use credible sources for our own education. We carefully discern the key details, and we take those nuggets and transform them into a piece specially created for your business. We can even take things a step further and conduct interviews of employees or subject matter experts to get the facts we need. And if we have questions along the way, we’ll verify our thoughts with you.

Integrity Is King

At All Things Writing, we educate ourselves on your topics and glean a solid understanding of the message and concepts. We pull out key notes and mix them around in our heads to tell the story in our own way, never using someone else’s language. Our fabulousness is all our own, making your pieces all your own!

Your Goal Is Our Goal

It’s our goal to find a unique angle or spin that will connect with your audience. We’ll help you reach the intended goal of each piece, whether that’s driving more traffic to your site, establishing you as an expert in your field or simply providing some humor for your followers. We can take complex topics and make them speak to your audience. Whether you’re writing for PhDs or teens, we’ve got the language skills, talents and flexibility to make each piece reach your followers.

We Involve You in the Process

And just in case you still feel a little nervous about our lack of expertise in your topic area, our clients are involved in each project. We build review steps in for all clients, giving you a chance to fact check us, make sure you think the piece will reach your customers and ensure we’ve met the intended goal. It’s not finished until you say it’s finished. Fair enough?

So back to that marketing tagline. How about, “We’re the writing experts who research important information on your topics and string together magnificent pieces for you on time, every time.” If you’re in need of some timely blogs, striking marketing materials or a new snazzy website, give us a shout. We’re standing by to help you stand out in your field.
